4 new automated die-casting islands have been installed since the beginning of the year at Metalpres Donati. They are all equipped with part control vision systems. Once, in particular, also includes a camera that allows the entire die-casting process to be evaluated. Based on the information collected by the camera on the moulded part in extraction and the comparison with the entered parameters, a series of fundamental data is gained that is now used for process analysis but, in the future, will allow the system to self-set itself in optimal conditions.
