Metalpres Donati recently installed a new vertical warehouse connected to a robotic island equipped with automatic deburring areas and a latest generation 4-camera vision system in its headquarters in Camignone.
The new system, added to another one used for the last two years for automatic deburring, is specific to processing a new component for the automotive sector.
The vertical warehouse, controlled by a software specifically created by Metalpres Donati technicians, feeds a first robot that deburs the surface, next, a second station completes an additional deburring process; the second robot places the processed part in the viewing station where, following stringent controls, it is declared suitable and made ready for shipment.
